The Princess & the Showgirl is Freeze Frame Opera’s innovative new production of Cilea’s opera, Adriana Lecouvreur. This bold interpretation, set in 1950s America, offers a fresh take on this classic tale of love, passion, and betrayal.Featuring some of the most beautiful and moving music ever written, The Princess & the Showgirl tells the story of a tragic love triangle between a famous actress, her lover, and a jealous rival. With its captivating performances, iconic visuals, and unforgettable music, ending like so many Hollywood legends in tragedy, this opera is sure to leave you breathless.
