Angels & Devilswill bring you tragedy, comedy, and our biggest cast ever. It’s a trip to heaven and hell. First up is the story of Suor Angelica. In our version, Angelica is a recovering drug addict who we meet years after her family cut her off and her child was removed by social services.  It’s a tough story, but the music is heavenly, and at interval, you get to recover with a warm glass of mulled wine and some wood-fired pizza. Then it’s time for something sillier, the story of Gianni Schicchi. One of the posh Donati boys has fallen in love with a girl from the wrong side of the tracks whose dad is the ultimate used car salesman. The Donatis are too good for these people until they get themselves into a pickle over inheritance. As the bogans step up, the balance of power starts to shift. Maybe the young lovers are in with a chance. Rug up and come out with us for some truly glorious music and a ride through the highs and lows of life. We promise to send you home smiling.
