DESCRIPTION:BENVENUTO!!\nWelcome to our 4th annual BrainChild Ball – La Dolce Vita\, being held in the Grand Ballroom at Crown Perth\, from 6:00pm on Saturday 27th July 2019. Guests will indulge in the food\, music and general ambience that so unmistakably comes from one of the most loved countries\, cultures and peoples of the world. \nLa Dolce Vita – “The Sweet Life”….\nIn Italy this phrase is used colloquially when describing a life filled with pleasure and luxury. In our case\, it conveys an aspiration\, a wish\, a mission. That is that all children can live a life full of simple pleasures and basic luxuries free of brain cancer. \nGuests will enjoy a 3 course meal with wines\, entertainment\, a live & silent auction – and of course the return of our ever popular Champagne and Sports Bars. \nWHERE THE FUNDS GO\nWe are proud that 100% of the funds raised from the ball goes directly to this cause. For the past three years the Ball has funded the BrainChild Fellowship\, held by Dr Raelene Endersby\, Co-Head of the Brain Tumour Research Program (BTRP) at Telethon Kids Institute. Funds raised over and above those required for the BrainChild Fellowship are contributed towards the BTRP teams conducting world-class childhood brain cancer research programs. \nIn 2019 we are aiming to raise at least $358\,000 – with which the BrainChild Ball will have contributed $1\,000\,000 to childhood brain cancer research\, significantly advancing discovery towards happy healthy children free of brain cancer. \nTICKETS \n$295 each and may be purchased individually or in tables of 10. \nTo secure your tickets\, please email ahoy@pirateshipfoundation.com.au or call 0468 346 740\n
