The King is going to war, and instructs his daughters not to go into a locked room while he’s away – for in that room lies The Book of Fate. Of course his daughters don’t listen! They break into the room, and one of the mends up marrying a pig. But will everything turn out well, and everyone live happily ever after? Jonathan Dove’s magical comic opera is one for audiences of all ages, as it brings to life the fairy tales The Enchanted Pig and The Brown Bear of Norway. Accompanied by Tommaso Pollio and performed in the Richard Gill Auditorium, this is a semi-staged production.
